Yes, recruiting students involves “marketing” and “sales”, but you can’t blindly apply the “best practices” that work in many industries. Deciding where to spend the next 2-4 years of your life and on which life path to embark … it’s different stuff from buying a new car or booking a weekend trip.
And I realised that while there are many excellent general marketing books, there isn’t any that provides a clear and understandable framework for Higher Education. That’s what I aim to do with this book.
