Crystal Marketing B.V. (the private Ltd. company behind Guus Goorts) strives to only process data that we need for marketing, delivering and improving our services. I handle the information collected about you with care. I never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to your website visit and use of any of the services provided by Crystal Marketing BV. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is 15 August 2024. The publication of a new version will supersede all previous versions.

Personal data that we process

Crystal Marketing B.V. processes your data for the following purposes:

How we protect personal data
Crystal Marketing B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. The following measures have been taken by us:
- We monitor our Google Workspace sharing settings
- Enforced 2-factor authentication on Google workspace
- Periodic check of our network infrastructure for passwords, updates and encryption
- We have set up our own secure and private WiFi network with firewall equipment. Remote work is always done through a VPN connection.
About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), which security techniques we use and for whom the data can be viewed.
ActiveCampaign
I send out e-mail newsletters with ActiveCampaign. ActiveCampaign will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that has been automatically sent through our website you will see an unsubscribe link. Once clicked, you will immediately be unsubscribed and no longer receive my newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by ActiveCampaign. ActiveCampaign will use cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether e-mails are opened and read, unless you have opted out of this through our cookiebar.
Gsuite
I use the services of Gsuite for regular business e-mail traffic and file storage. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Google has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
Yuki
Yuki is my accounting platform. It stores company data of clients, suppliers and employees to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
SurveyMonkey
I conduct occasional surveys, such as e-course intakes and evaluations, through SurveyMonkey
ActiveCollab
ActiveCollab is our task manager. If you opt to collaborate with us in ActiveCollab, we will store your e-mail address in ActiveCollab to notify you of any updates. No other personal data is stored in ActiveCollab.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment that you give. We do not use your data for this
(targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date, we will ask you for explicit permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all held to confidentiality on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In appropriate cases, Crystal Marketing B.V. be held to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigation by the government on the basis of a legal obligation. In such a case, we are forced to share your data.
Retention periods
We keep your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also regard this as a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your assignment.

You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.
